Between 2004 and 2007 Revive & Thrive supported community regeneration activity within the most rural parts of Boston Borough and South Holland District. The initiative was delivered by Officers from Lincolnshire County Council working in partnership with South Holland District Council and Boston Borough Council. Central to the project was a commitment to help reverse the decline in rural services and create prosperous, thriving communities.
To help community groups to understand the variety of services which they could host at their facilities, and to help link the groups with providers of the kinds of services which their communities had expressed a need for, Revive & Thrive held a networking event. This leaflet shows the kinds of services which groups were interested in hosting.
Revive & Thrive’s grant programme was available to eligible community-based projects across the Objective 2 Transitional area of Lincolnshire. This leaflet summarised eligibility for grants, and how potential applicants could apply
Revive & Thrive offers the advice and support of Community Development Officers to help community groups that are responsible for facilities such as village halls or community centres. This leaflet suggests some of the many ways in which Revive & Thrive could support groups to meet the needs of their communities.
